THE 4,600 PEOPLE OF ILULISSAT, THE THIRD LARGEST TOWN IN GREENLAND, HALF WAY UP THE WEST COAST, EXPECT DISKO BAY ON WHICH THE TOWN STANDS, TO BE FROZEN SOLID IN WINTER. FOR THE LAST TWO WINTERS, HOWEVER, ONLY SEA ICE SIMILAR TO SUMMER CONDITIONS HAS BEEN SEEN.

    I’m very impressed by this photography. The helicopter view maybe, The different colors of houses of this village are in the same mood with the ice pieces in the ocean. The sunlight makes me feeling of sunset, the brown color of earth is so warm. The feeling is optimistic, even if global warming speaks for bad climate changes.
