Climate change and natural environment

Comment

THE SWAMPS IN AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK ARE A HAVEN FOR WILDLIFE. THE WATER WHICH FEEDS THE SWAMPS IS FILTERED THROUGH THE POROUS SOILS OF MOUNT KILIMANJARO AND SURFACES IN THE PLAINS TO PROVIDE A WELCOME ENVIRONMENT FOR MANY BIRDS AND A PLAYGROUND FOR ELEPHANTS. EARLY INDICATIONS SHOW THAT CLIMATE CHANGE WILL AFFECT THE WATER SUPPLY TO THIS AREA.

very interesting photos, it seems a landscape of millions of century ago.

Sad to see the reality of climate change. Even though I saw the Kilimanjaro Glaciers earlier this and was excited by it. I know the glaciers have shrunken tremendously since my cousin climbed it 10 years ago. The other effects of climate change as pointed out by the photos are also painful to absorb.

It shows that we as a people must stand and protest this atrocity and do everything in our power to change the way we live and not let these big corporations dictate to us what is good in the name of progress [profit is more like it], before it is too late..
