A BLUE LIFELINE RUNS THROUGH THE DRIED GRASSLANDS OF CENTRAL CALIFORNIA. AQUEDUCTS LIKE THIS CARRY WATER FROM THE SIERRA MOUNTAINS TO FARMLANDS AND HOUSEHOLDS. CLIMATE CHANGE IS EXPECTED TO CAUSE A SERIOUS DECLINE IN THE SIERRA SNOWPACK, IMPORTANT BECAUSE SEASONAL SNOW-MELT CONTRIBUTES TO THE WATER SUPPLY OF 85% OF URBAN AND AGRICULTURAL USERS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, THE CENTRAL VALLEY AND THE SOUTH COAST. NEARLY ONE THIRD OF CALIFORNIA’S 100 MILLION ACRES ARE DEVOTED TO FARMING. WITH AN ANNUAL OUTPUT VALUED AT US$27 BILLION, THE STATE’S AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION RANKS FIRST IN THE US BY MARKET VALUE

Today woke me up, today was no different, tomorrow will be different, today is when we should act.
If only tomorrow we were ordered to make a change, then our resourceful planet wouldn’t struggle like it does today.

Five star information. The tsmame the hit Thailand a few months ago, sad event. The question I would like to know is was the ocean
cleaning it’s self for a better climate change?
Thank you
The comment posted about the tsmame gives me concern. Earthquakes are neither caused by or precursers to climate change and linking the two gets people off track as to the real consequences of climate change.
And what is Kula thinking the Ocean was cleaning? Its floor of toxins, its water of fish, its shores of people? I am left wondering what the intension of this message is about.
I hope we can all work together to allow this planet to be the abundant life giver that it is toda,y to last into the future. Let this be for all of us including people, creatues, and the Earth.
Mother Earth will not hesitate in her relentless struggle to maintain balance. Too many people equals to much polution and too many resources being torn from her surface. We can consider having less children and only taking what we absolutely NEED not what we want!
So why don’t we enforce the 55 mph speed limit nationwide ????? This would bring about a surplus of oil in a very short period . Nobody is talking about this the politicians especially . Everyone drives 70 + mph I bet a lot of them doing it are the ones warning about global warming .
I think that between the tsumani, and all the major hurricanes that hit down south was a message to the rest of the world that there are many more natural disasters to come in the upcoming years and they will continue to get worse not better and we the people need to seriously start taking better care of all the things that we have including the air that we breath! This world is not going to be around forever and if we don’t start doing something now then before we know it it’s going to be to late!
Okey dok. From now on, I am riding my bike to work, the bank, the market, the library. I am leaving my CO2-producing machine parked and quiet whenever possible.
